Title: Data Analyst - Business Operations
Work on site: Yes – Hybrid Schedule (2 days in office 3 days remote)
Location: Washington, DC (Preferred) and or Raleigh, NC

Duties:

• Candidate will be required to provide integrated data analysis support services for the Endpoint Innovation teams project initiatives. Tasks may include data analysis and review and strategic planning deliverables not limited to activities within the task order. The client may add, change or delete from task as prioritized by business needs.

• Candidate will support the Endpoint engineering team providing data analysis and maintenance support for hardware and equipment. Candidate must be technical in nature and will support the client, for reporting, interpreting data, analyze results using analytics, research methodologies, and statistical techniques. In addition, the candidate will be required to develop and implement data analyses, leverage data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality using the client inhouse toolsets such as SCCM/MEM, Tanium, ServiceNow, etc.

• Candidate must have the ability to create inventory tracking and a dashboard to illustrate numbers, counts, trends.
Also, solve problems and be the lead for reporting, analytical and current data support for the infrastructure,

 
Requirements:

• Compiling of project data and reports on status of key projects to management 
• Ability to mine, compile and use data to make informed business decisions in accordance with the goals of the organization 
• Establishing key performance indicators 
• Analyzing project data and producing insights to optimize performance 
• Identifying problems and shortfalls and proposing solutions based on data 
• Providing operational support such as liaising with data stakeholders 
• Provide team with data analysis and statistical analysis 
• Serves as a data analyst by working with enterprise-wide technology and provide technical direction and guidance to the Endpoint Innovation Team.

• Provides technical direction and guidance to all stakeholders on the analysis, interpretation, and display of data; advises on the appropriate statistical and computational methodologies (e.g., probability sampling, experimental design, data quality) to ensure accurate conclusions and presentation of data findings.

• Researches, analyzes, and interprets underlying data; develops algorithms to evaluate domain data (e.g., customer, finance, operational) to address business questions or issues.

• Designs and executes the development of models and visualizations to address opportunities and pain points with technology systems and applications.

• Develops scalable, efficient, and automated processes for large scale data analyses and model development, validation, and implementation. Develops processes and mechanisms using programming languages.

• Uses statistical and exploratory data analysis techniques, methods, and tools to measure and track performance and identify opportunities for improvement. Interprets results and translates findings into actionable recommendations. Presents recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.

• Collaborates with Information and Technology related business units to coordinate the integration and implementation of new developments to applications and technologies.

• Research industry best practices, trends, and insights around key data analytics

 
Minimal Qualifications:

• Ability to drive data around projects and provide day-to-day direction to team members 
• Demonstrated strong data analysis skills on a large-scale IT team
• Ability to create visual representations (e.g., presentations) of complex IT datasets 
• Expertise with MS Office suite of tools 
• Expertise with Power BI 
• Must be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust Clearance – US Citizen or Permanent  Resident (Green Card Holder), and must not have traveled outside of the US for a  combined total of 6 months or more in last 5 years 
• Must have resided in the US for the last 5 years

 Preferred Qualifications:

• Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:

      o Certifications in Data Analysis

      o Software analytics certifications

      o Training on data tools

 
Education:

• Bachelor’s degree and 10 years’ experience, additional experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.

 
Additional Provisions:

• Pass both a client mandated clearance process to include drug screening, criminal history and credit checks.

• Please note that any usage and detection of cannabis with or without a prescription will result in a failed US Postal clearance regardless of the legalization under State Laws.

• Once candidate’s resume is approved and interview passed, the agency is responsible for providing drug screening. Failure to submit the drug screening results will delay the security clearance process.

• If a candidate is given an interim clearance, continuation of employment is then based on the candidate receiving a sensitive clearance.

• All candidates must be a US Citizen, or have permanent residence status (Green Card).
