Job Description: Job Title: IT Specialist

Our Client is seeking an IT Specialist to identify new and emerging technology to support strategic planning initiatives required to meet business needs.

This individual will conduct assessments, evaluations, selections, site surveys, requirements analysis and definition, technology prototyping, and cost analyses related to information technology. 

This position will provide knowledge which facilitates the transfer of information technology into the Client and recommend changes in technology which support new and/or revised business practices; does not code applications.

This position must identify and describe the major information technology efforts in which he/she has participated and specify the role and accomplishments in each.  Knowledge, skills, and abilities must be applicable to the site where the employee will be working.

•Create and maintain processes, policy checks, configuration diagnostics, report generation, and compliance scripts.

•Performed maintenance work on ISE and contributed input in policy adoption and configuration.

•Working knowledge of Stealth watch

•Training or actual hands-on experience with the contractors Total Quality Management or Business Process Re-engineering programs

•Excellent communication skills both written and oral with the ability to formulate and document proposed solutions in comprehensive quantitative, and qualitative terms appropriate for comparative analysis.

•Ability to read, write and test software specified in delivery order to the proficiency required by the delivery order.

This individual will be qualified for assignment and must have proficiency to the degree required in the following software products:

Data capture and dissemination, Automatic identification/location, Voice processing, Imaging, Multimedia, Smart cards, Artificial intelligence, Information highway, Networking, Data & voice communications, Call processing systems, Telephone systems, Circuit switching, Cellular telephones, Radio systems, Computer Telephone Integration (CTI), Interactive Voice Response (IVR), Voice messaging, Voice mail, Automated attendants, Local Area Networks (LANs), Wide Area Networks (WANS), Internet, Modem simultiplexors, Fiber optics, Transmission systems, Wireless, Microwave and satellite communications, Network standards and protocols, T-Carrier Systems, Land/mobile communications, INTELSAT, ISDN, SONET, ATM, Postage Meter Security Technology, Computer Encryption technology, Message authentication schemes, Key exchange protocols, Digital signatures, Hashing algorithms.

Bachelor’s Degree in information systems, business, computer science, or related field. Work experience may substitute for college, but not vice versa.

A minimum of 6 years of progressively more difficult experience in developing, researching, testing, implementing and/or integrating new information technology to support existing business systems.

Master’s Degree in information systems, business, computer science, or related field.

•Pass both a client mandated clearance process to include drug screening, criminal history check and credit check.

•If a candidate is given an interim clearance, continuation of employment is then based on the candidate receiving a sensitive clearance.

•All candidates must be a US Citizen or have permanent residence status (Green Card).

•Candidate must have lived in the United States for the past 5 years.

•Cannot have more than 6 months’ travel outside the United States within the last five years. Military Service excluded. (Exception does not include military family members.)
