DevOps - Subject Matter Expert
Title: DevOps Subject Matter Expert
Location: Remote, however Customer site locations are; Dallas,TX, East Rutherford,NJ,and Richmond,VA(
Eastern, Central and Mountain time zones)
NOTE:US Citizenship is Required
Ability to pass enhanced background screen (criminal, financial, drug) for Public Trust clearance.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting auto deployment issues and the tools associated with it.
- Building automation capability.
- Creating automated application deployment capabilities.
- Updating existing automation capabilities as per the business needs
Required Job Skills:
- 10+ years of IT experience.
- 5+ years of Automation tools experience including Ansible.
- 5+ years of Orchestration tools experience including Jenkins, Terraform.
- Intermediate-level scripting skills in UNIX scripting and Python.
- Version control repository including GitHub, BitBucket, etc.
- Knowledge of DevOps and automation practices and principles
Desired Job Skills:
- Familiar with Jenkins/Nexus/Ansible/terraform installation and upgrades.
- AWS Cloud practitioner or architect associate certification is preferred.
- Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodology.
