General Description
Seeking a Technical Writer to work directly with Product Owners, business SMEs, and data analysts to assist in understanding and writing supporting documents.
Job Description
- Work directly with Product Owners, business SMEs, and data analysts to assist in understanding and writing supporting documents
- This includes both technical and business runbooks
- Ability to understand complex technical and business concepts and document them in an easy to navigate and consume manner
- Ability to analyze and understand complex data models
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with Product Owners, SMEs, developers, Team Leads
- Gather information from subject-matter experts and develop, organize, and write procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation
- Work with development and support leads to identify documentation repositories, revise and edit, and determine best solutions for data compilation and centralized storage
- Research, create, and maintain information architecture templates that adhere to organizational and legal standards and allow for easy data migration
- Develop content in alternative media forms for maximum usability, with consistent voice across all documentation
Expect to own the creation of maintenance of the following artifacts:
- Business runbooks
- technical runbooks
- Data flow diagrams
- Product manuals
- User guides
- API documentation
- SDK documentation
- JAD session notes
- Architecture templates
