Title: Oracle Hyperion and Essbase – SME.

Location: Remote, however Customer site locations are; Dallas, TX, East Rutherford, NJ, and Richmond, VA.

Eastern, Central and Mountain time zones.

US Citizenship is Required - •Ability to pass enhanced background screen (criminal, financial, drug) for Public Trust clearance.

This is for a day position working 8:00 am ET to 5:00 pm ET

Oracle Hyperion and Essbase product administrator for a large IT infrastructure. 

This position is in 24 x 7x 365 environments, working days, some nights and weekends for production changes. There is also an on-call requirement.

Client’s Program is looking to add an Oracle Hyperion and Essbase SME ( Subject Matter Expert ).  This position requires knowledge of the Hyperion and Essbase products, starting and stopping services, configuration changes, troubleshooting skills, able to support day to day activities and responsible for incident resolution and change implementation.

This person is a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Hyperion, Essbase and will provide project planning and technical support to the application developers and application business owners. This resource will be the primary point of contact for Hyperion and Essbase Products throughout the application life cycle. In this role, the individual will ensure the Hyperion and Essbase products readiness compliance; propose architectural solutions to support Hyperion and Essbase requirements for high availability, reliability, security, etc.; work with clients to develop and update migration project schedules and provide appropriate communications. Must be willing to handle complexity and troubleshoot various technical scenarios on various software platforms. This position requires off-hours and regular weekend support.

      

Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience; Master’s Degree

Must be knowledgeable with the Hyperion and Essbase software.

Must have 3-5  years of Hyperion and Essbase Product Administration.  

Must have experience with installing and configuring Hyperion and Essbase on a Linux  Operating System.

Must have experience with the Linux Unix Operating system.

Must be able to provide installation, optimization, and troubleshooting support for the Hyperion and Essbase products.

Working knowledge of production Web hosting environments is preferred.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Must have the experience working with technical teams, administration, configuration, and integration with COTS products. Focus is on the Administration of the Hyperion and Essbase Products.

Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) experience would be a plus.

Must be a US Citizen.

Must be able to obtain and maintain the required agency clearance.

Implement, support, and maintain Hyperion and Essbase environment.

Must be able to troubleshoot issues, update trouble tickets and create change requests in support of the Hyperion and Essbase products.

Technical deep dives and Root Cause Analysis.

System monitoring and health checks.

Remedy.

Process-driven environment – Change Management.

On-call requirement.

3 – 5 years of relevant experience with specified infrastructure and Hyperion and Essbase product support

A Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, computer engineering, management information systems, information technology or a similar field.

Certifications are a plus.

The successful candidate would expect to support Hyperion and Essbase environment running in a LINUX environment including patching, change management/closure, and the ability to plan and execute changes using the documented process. When issues occur, you can expect to be involved in troubleshooting performance, network connectivity, port availability, process detection, etc. during a live conference call with other team members.
