Job Title: IT - Business Systems Analyst III
Citizenship Requirement: US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder)
Location: Rosslyn, VA – Remote
This individual will be able to provide support remotely without mileage limitations Position Description
- Leads meetings with stakeholders to identify, assess, document, and review software requirements
- Translates business requirements to functional requirements; ensures the development team understands the requirements; supports IT design questions
- Prepares for and participates in User Acceptance Testing to ensure requirements were properly translated
- Creates and maintains all requirements documentation to include user stories, process models, and wireframes
- Ensures user stories are routed for approval and prioritization by the customer
- Participates in data analysis as it pertains to requirements issues and gaps
- Documents and communicates requirements changes to all impacted parties
- Coordinates all requirements issues between business customers, PM, QA, and technical team
- Evaluates business processes, anticipates requirements, and recognizes opportunities to take advantage of technology to support business objectives;
- leads business to better visualize optimization strategies
- Presents demonstrations of software functionality to business audiences

Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 4 years’ experience. Additional experience may be required in lieu of degree.
- At least five years of professional experience as a Business Analyst
- Experience writing business and functional requirements in the development of complex software
- Experience facilitating a Business Requirements session with 10+ participants representing varied concerns
- The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions
- Excellent documentation skills, including writing of effective user stories and use of diagramming software such as MS Visio;
- experience with wireframing software preferred
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Highly self-motivated and directed, with a proactive approach to problem solving
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks across multiple projects
- Experience writing detailed test plans and testing software against requirements
- Ability to analyze and write scope change requests to requirements
- Strong customer service orientation
- Experience using MS DevOps strongly preferred
- US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder), and must not have traveled outside the US for a combined total of 6 months or more in last 5 years.
- Must have resided in the US for the last 5 years
