Required requirements: Pass State of Iowa and IRS background checks. Preferred requirements: A federally recognized (ANSI) information security certification is preferred for this position. The Department of Defense (DOD) 8570 Baseline Certifications defined by Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) is the baseline to consider when reviewing the relevance of the certification.
 
General Description
Senior Security/Infrastructure Project Manager is responsible for a variety of department and project tasks associated with the managing and tracking of technology initiatives.

IT SECURITY/INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT MANAGER 
Seeking a Senior Security/Infrastructure Project Manager to drive technology projects to completion while ensuring adherence to established budgets, business plans, process, procedures and requirements while working closely with technical, security, network, infrastructure, and business unit personnel.
The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for adhering to project management governance on multiple current and future projects. Additionally, the PM will be accountable for generating project schedules, identifying/staffing needs resourcing, completing the procurement of vendor products / implementation services, and submitting funding requests as required. The PM will manage the delivery efforts and report status of each to OCIO Leadership.
The Senior Project Manager will conduct project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis, ensuring adherence to quality standards and project deliverables.
The Senior Project Manager will be part of a PMO team responsible for all aspects of IT project governance, assessment, management and control. The ability to gather and define requirements; build a project plan; identifying resource needs; and transparent, clear communications across all levels of stakeholders.  Essential is the ability to multitask on continually changing and morphing priorities as prescribed by Leadership in response to department and legislative direction.
We’re looking for a passionate Senior Project Manager who knows how to help define, de-risk and execute against a product vision. The role demands strong product instincts, excellent communication skills, technical fluency, empathy, humility and an appreciation for and understanding of technological principles and practices.
The Senior Project Manager will monitor and report on cyber project related Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Key Risk Indicators (KRI) including:
1. Draft and implement internal and external project reporting procedures.
2. Maintain project dashboards and metrics.
3. Monitor project goals and objectives and keep leadership informed on the progress.
4. Coordinate with communications teams and collaborate with external stakeholders on significant project changes and enhancements.

5. Collaboratively defining and driving product strategy, vision and roadmap evangelizing to all the teams, partners and users of our platforms
6. Quickly understand a specific domain and identify the trends and opportunities in that space
7. Working with the team to drive product definition, design and prototyping process to discover customer problems and create valuable, desirable and feasible solutions.
8. Collaboratively define and prioritize a backlog for your product that continuously delivers measurable value towards the vision
9. Helping innovate and iterate on agile product management processes and share our insights
10. Bring clarity where there is uncertainty, manage risk and continuously deliver value. 
11. Define experiments, measuring success metrics and using data to inform decisions.
12. Bridge business goals, user needs and feasibility as you help design and ship product
13. Work closely with your team to help create positive business outcomes for our clients
14. Confidently facilitate discussions with a group as large as an executive conference room, while drawing out all the voices by facilitating the right activities to get the right information
15. Create a backlog, write user stories, and manage releases
16. Able to break down complex problems into actionable steps with measurable outcomes
17. Strong leadership and communication skills and the ability to teach others
18. Ability to work collaboratively with others and navigate complex decision making
19. Focused on data-driven approaches to solving problems, and accelerating the learning process to validate solutions
20. Ability to collaborate well with engineers, designers, and other partners
21. Comfortable with ambiguity. We work in an iterative and incremental way, balancing many different inputs and constantly making trade-offs.
22. Functional knowledge of SOC-2, ISO, and FedRAMP certifications
