Job Title: SAP HCM HR Project Manager
Location: Remote

Job Description:
  • Responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provides a single point of contact for those projects. 
  • Takes projects from original concept through final implementation. Interfaces with all areas affected by the project including end users, computer services, and client services. 
  • Defines project scope and objectives. Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. 
  • Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis. Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables. 
  • Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables. Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team. Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems. 
  • Performs all functional duties independently. Works on high-visibility programs, or mission critical aspects of assigned program(s). 
  • Oversees the efforts of direct reporting resources and/or is responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job.
Proficient in the following:
  • Strong knowledge in SAP HCM HR modules including OM/PA, eCareer, EHS ect. 
  • SDLC practices.
  • Leading multiple, disparate projects.
  • Knowledge/experience in facilitating Agile teams.
  • Ability to operate in a hybrid agile and traditional project management role.
  • Effective liaison between business and technical teams.
  • Strong facilitation skills.
  • Ability to re-prioritize work based on changing business priorities.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to present to client-side senior level management.
  • Risk Management.
  • Issue Resolution.
  • MS Office Suite.
Experience and knowledge in the following areas:
  • SAP HR modules
  • Agile Methodologies
  • SDLC practices
  • Change Management
  • Configuration Management
  • Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) 
  • Capacity Planning
Desired qualifications and knowledge in the following areas:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification; ServiceNow; VersionOne; SOX Controls & Compliance.
Additional Required Skills/Experience:
  • A minimum of ten (10) years experience in project management or related field, preferably in the area of software application development and/or related field ; 
  • Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience, in technology or software development preferred, A degree from an accredited College/University in Software Engineering,  Computer Science, or related discipline is preferred; 
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred; 
  • Able to perform all functional duties independently on high-visibility programs, or mission critical aspects of a given program; 
  • Able to oversee the efforts of direct reporting resources and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job;; 
  • Experience training/mentoring less experienced personnel; 
  • Broad knowledge of project management disciplines as outlined in the Project Management Body of Knowledge; 
  • Extensive experience with managing software application development projects of various sizes, including client interaction and meeting facilitation; 
  • Extensive experience defining project scope, developing work plans and project schedules, preparing project estimates, developing resource plans, and compiling project status reports; 
  • Extensive experience managing heterogeneous project teams composed of resources from multiple vendors/organizations; 
  • Extensive experience reviewing software documentation such as requirements specifications, design documents, manuals, test plans/cases, test scripts and test reports; 
  • Able to obtain Postal clearance; 
  • Excellent communication skills.
Additional Provisions
  • Pass both a client mandated clearance process to include drug screening, criminal history check and credit check.
  • Once candidate’s resume is approved and interview passed, the agency is responsible for providing drug screening. Failure to submit the drug screening results will delay the security clearance process.
  • If a candidate is given an interim clearance, continuation of employment is then based on the candidate receiving a sensitive clearance.
  • All candidates must be a US Citizen.
  • Candidate must have lived in the United States for the past 5 years.
  • Cannot have more than 6 months’ travel outside the United States within the last five years. Military Service excluded. (Exception does not include military family members.)
  • All overtime must be pre-approved in writing by the client manager or his/her designated representative.
  • Agency will not be reimbursed for overtime charges without previous written authorization. Authorized overtime will be reimbursed at straight time.
