This position will be primarily a remote position, HOWEVER, there will be times the resource MUST BE ONSITE for in-person meetings. Therefore, candidates submitted should be relatively LOCAL to be able to easily get to the office in-person when required since neither the client, nor CAI, will cover any related travel costs for the candidate to travel onsite.
Ideal candidates will have previous PM experience working within Developmental Services agencies or Health and Human Services agencies managing a case/care management system modernization initiative.

Connecticut’s Department of Developmental Services (“CTDDS” or “Department”) is seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to assist the Department with analysis, planning, research, procurement, design, development, testing, and deployment activities associated with a federally funded Care/Case management modernization project. Candidate should have 5 plus years of Project management experience.
The Project Manager will assist DDS with the rapid confirmation of business needs and scope of the project, including any required integration work; the development of procurement documents (e.g. statement of work, request for services) and evaluation of proposals; and with follow-up funding-related activities (e.g., advanced planning document (“APD”) related work).
The ideal Project Manager will have experience assisting one or more Developmental Services agencies or Health and Human Services agencies with a similar modernization initiative. The Project Manager will work closely with the DDS American Rescue Plan Act (“ARPA”) Team on this initiative.
