ONSITE WORK IS REQUIRED for this position. Ideally fully onsite, but client will allow a hybrid option with a MINIMUM OF 3 DAYS PER WEEK ONSITE. 1 - ON SITE REQUIREMENTS - Candidates MUST be onsite at the Boise office. Ideally they would like someone onsite full time, but they will consider someone in a hybrid role with a MINIMUM of 3-days/week ONSITE, so please ONLY submit LOCAL CANDIDATES willing to work onsite as required. 

2 - IDOC BACKGROUND CHECK REQUIRED – In addition to the standard background check you are required to run on the selected candidate prior to starting (see Compliance tab for details), the agency requires an additional IDOC background investigation processes that will be coordinated through IDOC directly once the candidate is selected. RESULTS MUST BE RETURNED CLEAR before they can begin work (turnaround on results is roughly 2-weeks from time the investigation is initiated by IDOC).

Seeking an experienced consultant to perform system analysis, develop and support business applications, set up software build automation and assist with SQL server setup.

Seeking an experienced consultant to perform system analysis, develop and support business applications, set up software build automation and assist with SQL server setup. This person will work onsite in Boise at IDOC's central office (as noted in above details) with the IT Applications team. 

Perform systems analysis 

Analyze current data sources that support the business functions of IDOC. 

Prepare electronic, written and verbal reports of the state of the data and IT applications. 

Work with end-users to document solutions for business needs. 

Evaluate system architecture to make recommendations for improvement.

 

Understand IDOC’s short and long-term data correction needs and make recommendations on analysis tools. 

Recommend testing processes to ensure user needs are met and current systems continue to function. 

Recommend architectural improvements to current systems.  

Build approved solutions 

Apply technical abilities to develop code, data structures, and other objects to implement approved solutions. 

Use IDOC standard tools of Java, Javascript, SQL and SQL Server to implement approved solutions. 

Follow Agile principles to build and release iterative and incremental solutions. 

Implement automated software build processes.

Provide detailed design and specification documentation for all software solutions.

Participate in the identification, prioritization, and development of technical initiatives and strategies.

Experience performing analysis of system architecture to make recommendations for improvement. Required 6 Years

Experience documenting findings and recommendations from system architecture analysis. Required 6 Years

Experience coding technical solutions utilizing Java, Javascript, based on business requirements. Required 6 Years

Experience adhering to applications program standards when developing new systems. Required 6 Years

Experience with SQL Server databases. Required 5 Years

Experience with APIs. Highly desired 4 Years

Experience developing software build automation to support deployment of new builds. Highly desired 2 Years

Experience with Informix databases. Highly desired 2 Years

Excellent written and oral communication skills and experience communicating to all levels of stakeholders. Required
