This role translates complex business problems into practical solutions in the form of compelling presentations and data visualizations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Must be able to manage suite of critical, internal projects for multiple stakeholders.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Senior Business Consultant works with Digital Transformation and IT leadership to identify and solve critical problems spanning hardware, software, and data and its use within the entire agency.
This position reports directly to the Senior Director, Digital Transformation, and is responsible for:
- Identifying and analyzing business problems at the intersection of data, technology, and process
- Managing projects throughout the entire project management lifecycle, from Initiation to Closeout
- Creating robust, executive-ready deliverables and presentations
- Providing compelling data visualizations
- Leading meetings and work sessions with a broad set of stakeholders, while projecting an executive presence
- Other value-additive duties as assigned
EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION
Six or more years of experience as a business analyst, consultant, or similar role in technology or government.
