Job Description: Cyber Security Solutions Engineer/Architect IV
Location: Remote support may be authorized for qualified candidates. Candidates local to the Raleigh area are preferred.

Lead special projects or investigations into specific technology or solution issues and to shepherd research and piloting of new technologies. Serve as a point of contact for engineering efforts and has overall responsibility for the accuracy and integrity of the customer's private enclave while maintaining compliance with the customer's enterprise-wide architecture policies and guidelines.

Duties:
Provides security planning, assessment, risk analysis, and risk management.
• Validates and verifies system security requirements definitions and analysis and establishes system security designs • Designs, develops, implements and/or integrates IA and security systems and system components including those for networking, computing, and enclave environments to include those with multiple enclaves and with differing data protection/classification requirements • Builds IA into systems deployed to operational environments.

Desired Education and Experience:

EXPERIENCE LEVEL:  
10+ years of related experience in cybersecurity and NIST standards along with 5+ years of technical writing .

EDUCATION:  
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Management Sciences, Computer Science, Information Systems, Social Science, Education, Human Resources Development, and Psychology or other related disciplines and twelve to fifteen years of experience or Master’s degree and ten to twelve years of related experience or PhD and eight to nine years of related experience.

CERTIFICATIONS: (One or more required)
-CompTIA Security +
-CPTE - Certified Penetration Testing Engineer or CEH - Certified Ethical Hacker -CISA - Certified Information Systems Auditor CISSP CISSP-ISSEP CISSP-ISSAP CISSP-ISSMP preferred

Additional Provisions
• Pass both a client mandated clearance process to include drug screening, criminal history check and credit check.
• Once candidate’s resume is approved and interview passed, the agency is responsible for providing drug screening. Failure to submit the drug screening results will delay the security clearance process.
• If a candidate is given an interim clearance, continuation of employment is then based on the candidate receiving a sensitive clearance.
• All candidates must be a US Citizen.
• Candidate must have lived in the United States for the past 5 years.
• Cannot have more than 6 months’ travel outside the United States within the last five years. Military Service excluded. (Exception does not include military family members.) • All overtime must be pre-approved in writing by the client manager or his/her designated representative.
• Agency will not be reimbursed for overtime charges without previous written authorization. Authorized overtime will be reimbursed at straight time.
