Mobile Application Developer - Level IV (Remote):
Description:
Researches, designs, implements and manage software programs as well as testing and evaluating new programs. Resolves problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements. Writing and implementing efficient code. Develop quality assurance procedures and deploy software tools, processes and metrics. Works closely with other developers, UX designers, business and systems analysts. Acts as team leader on projects. Participates in development of software user manuals. Instructs, assigns, directs, and checks the work of other software developers on development team. Consults with engineering staff to evaluate software-hardware interfaces and develop specifications and performance requirements.
Tasks to be Performed:
Successful candidates will develop, maintain, and design mobile applications for platforms including iOS and Android.
Requirements:
Motivated self-starter with excellent analytical, organization, and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to meet with senior employees and representatives to brainstorm, discuss ideas related to application design, project plan, coding, testing and release of the application.
Ability to diagnose and improve UX/UI and fix bugs.
API development, tools, and best practices
Application Security
Performance tuning
DevSecOps, Secure Coding practices, and the Solutions Development Framework (Docker, Jenkins, GitLab)
Knowledge/experience using Agile Methodologies
Knowledge/experience of SDLC practices
Change Management and Configuration Management (VersionOne, ServiceNow, etc.)
Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)
5+ years experience developing mobile applications for iOS, Android, or Windows within an Agile product delivery team
10+ years proven experience in coding using programming languages such as Java, Swift, Kotlin, and Objective-C.
Database experience for mobile, web, and server development using Cloud Firestore, Firebase or similar.
Experience developing in Cloud Platforms
Experience deploying to apps stores and knowledge of Developer Program Policies for Google Play for Android and Apple's App Store for iOS.
Additional Required Skills/Experience:
A minimum of Thirteen (13) years’ relevant experience.
A degree from an accredited College/University in the applicable field of services is required. If the indiviual's degree is not in the applicable field then four additional years of related experience is required.
Typically performs all functional duties independently.
Note: Special credentials (licenses and/or certifications) may be required at the Task Order level on a case-specific basis."
Additional Provisions:
Pass both a client mandated clearance process to include drug screening, criminal history check and credit check.
Once candidate’s resume is approved and interview passed, the agency is responsible for providing drug screening. Failure to submit the drug screening results will delay the security clearance process.
If a candidate is given an interim clearance, continuation of employment is then based on the candidate receiving a sensitive clearance.
All candidates must be a US Citizen, or have permanent residence status (Green Card).
Candidate must have lived in the US for the past 5 years.
Cannot have more than 6 months travel outside the United States within the last five years. Military Service excluded. (Exception does not include military family members.) • All overtime must be pre-approved in writing by the client manager or his/her designated representative.
Agency will not be reimbursed for overtime charges without previous written authorization. Authorized overtime will be reimbursed at straight time.
