The primary focus of the SQL Database Marketing Analyst is directly contributing to the execution, automation, and maintenance of marketing campaigns for Ally Credit Card. They will have the opportunity to perform a wide variety of functions, including:
•Identify, segment, and automate campaign populations across multiple delivery channels (e.g., direct mail, email, statement, etc.)
•Debug, resolve and troubleshoot SQL code in an efficient manner in support of campaign delivery within specified project timelines.
•Accurately identify accounts as defined by business requirements.
•Ensuring validation of files is completed, and assist in making changes as needed if requirements change and/or issues are identified.
•Driving delivery of remediation efforts to complete within defined timelines ensuring accuracy and speed to delivery
•Providing ad-hoc analysis as needed to support forecasting of future marketing campaigns.
•Providing rigorous methodology and approach to documentation and version control to ensure replicability, performance, and adherence to all regulatory controls.
B.S. or B.A. preferably in a math or computer science related field.
Experience with Unix and mainframe processing platforms.
Experience with SQL or other relevant tools.
Impeccable collaboration skills and ability to influence cross-functional partners without direct authority
Experience using marketing data and analytics.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
